Raven Symone

 Raven-Symone Christina Maday (nee Pearman) was born on December 10, 1986 is an American performer and actress. Raven has received numerous awards, including five NAACP Image Awards and two Kids Choice Awards. Three Young Artist Awards and three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. She was on VH1's "100 Greatest Child Stars" list in 2012.



 



 Raven-Symone's acting career began as a child actress. She was a part of Olivia Kendall (1989-1992) on The Cosby Show and Nicole Lee (1993-1997), both of which earned her numerous nominations and awards.

She is most famous as an editor for British newspapers, nominal author of diet and educational books, and as the host of the Pride of Britain awards.    Her career began in 1982, when she was a participant on Channel 4's game show Countdown.
